The best place to start is at the beginning so here it goes. Born in TX but raised in WV. Despite my country roots, I have a city girl hidden within. I have lived in both Baltimore and Philadelphia and greatly enjoy visiting NYC. As a proud new homeowner, I have planted roots in a rural alcove of Philly. I enjoy having a house and spend a lot of time on DIY projects and upgrading to create a warm, friendly environment, a place I can truly call home. I am honest, outgoing, bubbly and have a true zest for life. I am blessed with having had the opportunity to earn an excellent education. I am a biochemist and am lucky enough to go to work everyday and have what I do potentially impact someone's life. It's a rewarding feeling and powerful opportunity. I am excited equally by the everyday and the extraordinary. I like to stay active and am especially fond of the endorphin boost that it brings. When the weather is warm, I take my workouts outdoors in the form of jogging and biking. Last year, I began training for my first 5k and am proud to say that I achieved my goal. I’m not speed demon but I can go the distance. I'm a sports fan. I love playing volleyball and play in a recreational league at work. I am also a big football fan and am a proud member of Steeler Nation. An afternoon of cheering on my beloved "black and gold" is always a good way to spend those cold winter Sundays. Although I live in the suburbs, I enjoy the city and all it has to offer. A night at the comedy club or catching the latest theater production makes for a great night out. I love music. Be it belting out a Katy Perry chart topper in the car, jammin' at a summer concert or running with Linkin Park, I find music to be an essential ingredient to life’s soundtrack. I'm also a foodie. Being Italian, it's in my blood. I enjoy going out to new restaurants and finding those hidden gems. Luckily, Philly and its surroundings are full of culinary adventures. I love the swish of my skis on a mountain and the squish of my toes in the sand
