He was born in a family of professionals. His mother, aged 70, is a well known school administrator in their place. His father, aged 73, is an agronomist. Unfortunately, they have decided to separate when he was just 4 years old. He has 3 older siblings. His brother, aged 51, is an architect who is currently working in Europe. His sister, aged 50, is a preschool teacher while his other sister, aged 48, is a college professor. He also has a nephew and a niece. His nephew, aged 14, is in middle school. His niece, sharing the same birth date as him (6 years old), is currently in primary school.

He is also a seasoned chess player/coach who is famous for conducting simultaneous chess matches and his mastery of the King's Gambit opening. He also writes and play songs in his younger years. He does some sketching and fan fiction writing whenever he has the free time in the clinic. He is also a self confessed neat freak.
